There are 48 hotels within two kilometres of the Convention Centre. Within the South Bank Precinct immediately surrounding the Centre there are now 916 four and five star rooms, with Rydges Hotel adjoined to BCEC, Mantra and the brand new Novotel South Bank adjacent to the Centre and the brand new Emporium five star hotel located two blocks away. W Brisbane Hotel and Westin Brisbane are recent additions to the city's offering and a further six hotel development projects are currently underway.
